ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನೇ ನಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವು ಈ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ

ನಡೆದಾಡಿವೆ,ಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ-ನೀರಿನಿಂದ

ತೇವಗೊಂಡು ತಣಿದಿವೆ ಮನದಣಿಯೇ

ಎಂದೋ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಅವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು

ಹುಡುಕಿ ಬಂದು ಪಡೆಯಲಿವೆ. . .
